DESCRIPTION
Impumelelo is a ladies’ residence at the University of Johannesburg. Ever the Rand Afrikaans University (RAU) became the University of Johannesburg in 2005, the university has been going through a process of transformation. The Impumelelo re-branding is an example of this process. Fieldworks was tasked with engaging with the residence and, in collaboration, designing a new identity for the residence that better reflects its new personality and aspirations.
YMCA is a men's residence at the University of Johannesburg.
